Update - 24 Sep xxxx: Three puppies have been sold. I have one male and three females left. I have a new litter of pure bred, registered German Shepherd puppies (3 males and 4 four females) born the 19th of August. You can select a puppy and reserve it with a $200 non-refundable deposit / down payment toward the $800 purchase price. Cash or money order please. The puppies will be ready for viewing and selection at four weeks old on 12 September. They will be ready to go to new homes at eight weeks old ? on 10 October.
I raise my puppies in my home in Monument, Colorado. Birthing and growing up takes place in my master bedroom suite in a large wood sided puppy corral that Gretchen (the Mom) can hop in and out of when she wants to nurse. I play with the puppies in my bedroom several times a day, and as they grow older they have the run of the house during the day, and I take them outside weather permitting. I have a doggy door onto a deck which they quickly learn to use - following the example of Baron and Gretchen. By 8 weeks of age they are almost 'house trained'.
At time of pick-up, the buyer will receive a wellness certificate from my
veterinarian and documentation of it's initial vaccinations.
When they go to new homes, my puppies are very socialized. They have begun to learn that that people (fingers, toes, ears, etc.), and people things (clothes, shoes, furniture, etc.) are not 'chew toys'. They are very affectionate and they crave human company and attention. They love children and are not in any way aggressive with children, adults or other pets in their circle of family and friends.
Having said that, both Baron (the Dad) and Gretchen are both very protective - especially Baron He is very mellow unless the situation gets tense ? then he is a real fighter. He has attacked a full grown male Black Bear and chased it up a tree in our yard while protecting 'Dad'.
