Position Summary::/h2:
: Provides administrative support to the Facility Engineering and Real Estate departments in the coordination of capital spending and related projects. Role model and demonstrate the companys core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others. Essential Job Functions::/h2:
: Coordinates all administrative aspects of the division Capital Projects related to store construction, remodeling, maintenance and equipment procurement in an accurate and timely manner. This would include the following tasks:
: Generate the Capital Expenditure Request form as required by company spending guidelines.
: Update the Capital Project Tracking form for each project on a weekly basis.
: Requests quotes as needed for new or replacement equipment.
: Create and process Purchase Order approvals. Communicate approvals to vendors and appropriate company associates; validate Purchase Order invoices are accurately charged.
: Process change orders.
: Log project related Purchase Orders in a timely manner.
: Communicates potential issues related to project overages to VP of Facility Engineering.
: Submit required division reports to corporate in accurate and timely manner.
: Closing projects according to company guidelines.
: Maintain and monitor the Kroger Capital Spending worksheet in an accurate and timely manner. Provides updates as required.
: Maintain knowledge of Kroger approved equipment, cost and discounts available, warrantee information, and availability and related lead times.
: Create agenda for the bi:weekly capital/construction meetings.
: Distribute accurate minutes of the meeting and follow up items within 48 hours.
: Support the maintenance department and stores to identify the best source of needed parts and equipment and provides assistance in the order process. Provides guidance to ensure the integrity of corporate image and equipment standards.
: Maintain, monitor, and ensure the accuracy of corporate inventories related to equipment, signs and other Facility Engineering related items.
: Assist the Facility Engineering Construction Manager with various duties including the submission of necessary documents to local Health agencies for the remodel plan review process.
: Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with our without reasonable accommodation. Minimum Position Qualifications::/h2:
: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
: Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to follow procedure and meet deadlines.
: Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities. Desired Previous Job Experience:/h2:
: Accounting or procurement experience.
