WWII Thompson 1928A1 SMG in Pueblo, Colorado For Sale

Gorgeous WWII "investment grade" xxxxA1 Thompson C&R
Offered here by original owner dating to xxxx. AO Bridgeport manufacture with Savage lower. Late Gen 3 Military "L" sight Thompson (deactivated war trophy "DEWAT")with inspector's mark on top L Side. All military receivers and parts were mil spec and fully interchangeable. Original factory finish black/blue. Parkerized sometime later probably for the Korean War.
Owner then had gun deparkerized, fifty years ago, black/blue restored to match original finish on the WWII drum mag., Virtually all military xxxx Thompsons are refinished with almost all being parkerized. Now a gorgeous military C&R that owner believes was never issued as all parts,the bore,surfaces and all the matching mil marked wood, appear virtually new. No battlefield or West Hurley "junk" here.
NOTE: This is an early DEWAT and not a demil i.e., no
damage to receiver. Quick transfer as C&R on form 5. You may also elect to simply reactivate yourself on a BATF form "1". Comes with original Bridgeport "L" 50 rd. drum mag and oilier in butt stock trap. This gun, as a DEWAT, C&R, on Form 5, will transfer in 1/3 or less time than an "activated" Form 4 gun!
